Respond to the 2020 Census of Guam Today!

TAMUNING, Guam (August 7, 2020) — The 2020 Census of Guam is set to conclude at the end of summer. Participating in the 2020 Census of Guam is not only constitutionally mandated, it is the once in a decade opportunity for the community to directly influence how federal funding is allocated for Guam over the next 10 years. Responses to the 2020 Census will influence the amount of federal dollars for emergency services, healthcare programs, education, and other public and private services the island needs.

Census workers are still in the community delivering a Notice of Visit to every household to ensure all residents of Guam are counted once, only once, and in the right place. The 2020 Census of Guam may be completed over the phone or through an in-person interview at the household residence or a local Census Center. Residents who have not yet completed the 2020 Census should call the number on their Notice of Visit to complete their interview over the telephone or schedule an in-person interview.

If residents have not received a Notice of Visit or misplaced it, they are urged to call the Guam Census office at 645-2020.
